About Joanne
Joanne Edwards is a Partner and Head of Family at Forsters LLP, a Mayfair firm widely regarded as one of London’s leading private wealth practices, where she has built a practice spanning over 25 years. She specialises in high-value financial remedy proceedings on divorce (often with complex international, trust or business-valuation elements), pre- and post-nuptial agreements, child arrangements including international relocation, and cohabitation disputes, acting predominantly for HNW and UHNW clients including professional sportspeople, private equity figures, entrepreneurs, landed gentry, and those from the political and creative spheres. A trained mediator and collaborative lawyer — and one of only a handful in London qualified to conduct child-inclusive mediation — Jo is also a prominent family law reformer who served as Chair of Resolution from 2014 to 2016, has given evidence to parliamentary committees, and regularly appears on national television, radio, and in the broadsheets; she is recognised in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame and ranked Band 2 in Chambers HNW for Family/Matrimonial Finance: Ultra High Net Worth.
