Kirsty Thyer

Kirsty Thyer is a Director at The Family Law Company, having joined the firm in August 2012 and been appointed Director in April 2019. A member of the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2008, she specialises in complex cases involving injuries to children, including non-accidental injury care proceedings, and has experience taking cases to the Court of Appeal. She represents parents, children, and extended family members in both public law and complex private children disputes, and was Highly Commended as Leader of the Year at the Devon and Somerset Law Society awards in 2019.
