Liam Fennessy

Liam Fennessy is an Associate Solicitor in the Family and Children Law team at Preston Redman LLP, having qualified in March 2023. He joined the firm in 2018 as a legal secretary and completed his training contract before qualifying as a solicitor. Liam specialises in divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, financial settlements (including contested court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation-based consent orders), pre and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements for unmarried couples, property disputes for unmarried couples (TOLATA disputes), and children issues. He has a particular expertise in financial disclosure matters arising during financial settlements, including the treatment of cryptocurrency as an asset available for distribution. Liam holds a Law degree from Bournemouth University and completed his Legal Practice Certificate and Masters in Law with the University of Law, and undertook a sandwich year placement in a boutique matrimonial finance practice in Brighton.
