Victoria Cannon

Victoria Cannon is a Partner and Head of the Family department at Hugh James, joining the firm in 2023 after more than 20 years in family law. She started her legal career with a medium-sized Cardiff firm in 2005 before setting up her own family law practice in 2010 which she ran for 12 years. She has particular expertise guiding high-net-worth individuals and business owners through complex divorce proceedings involving international assets, trusts, pensions and investments, and also advises on complex children matters and cases involving domestic abuse. Victoria was named in the Spear’s Family Law Index 2025 as one of the UK’s top family lawyers.
